Rear differential noise

Hi all. I'm pretty sure this has been adressed on this forum before but I'm trying to refresh my memory.
I have an '04 explorer (25000 miles) with limited slip differential. When I go around a corner from a stop I get a shuddering sensation. This has occurred since the vehicle was new, even mentioned it to the dealer once when I took it in for a free oil change.
Anyway, I thought I saw something on here about changing the diff. oil to 75-140 and adding the friction modifier.
Any input would be appreciated.

for limited slip differentials youll have to add an additive thats just for limited slip diff thats if you have recently changed the oil in your diff and didnt add the additive

I realize that the limited slip diff. needs the friction modifier if you change the oil. I guess I was asking if anyone had any luck with getting rid of the noise by going with a different lubricant/friction modifier.
