new poster on the site, looking for some ideas -
My driver side rear door child lock PLASTIC mechanism has basically disintegrated, making it impossible to open the door from the inside at all. I can replace the latch assembly for a permanent spec fix, but I would rather not spend $50 + on a new entire assembly when the only problem is the child lock mech broke. What I need to figure out is something to keep the inner door handle push rod in the right place on its arm in the latch assembly to be able to open the door. I will try and post a pic soon to show the issue.
