Rear Ford Emblem

I recently bought a "5.0" emblem to replace the rear ford emblem but when I went to take the Ford one off I found that there were three holes in the body due to the pegs that held the emblem on. Does anybody have any suggestions how to fill/patch these holes. I might be able to cover most of the holes with the new emblem but I'm worried that if I can't cover all of them then water could get in and that wouldn't be pretty. Thanks!

Jas84...I don't have any pics yet but I should have them soon. I'll let you know when I do. Do you know if the Speed Grille comes in a chrome/chrome-like finish?? I thought I read somewhere that it came in two finishes but I didn't have that option when I ordered it so I figured it wasn't an option. Just wonderin'...is the middle part of your grille (the stock part that shows) the dull silver finish? I have a metallic grey truck and the middle of my grille is that dull silver...I'm considering having it painted to match the truck but I dunno how it would look with the Speed Grille. What do you think? Thanks.

I take it since your worried about the holes, your new emblem doesn't have the pegs. If you use some good double side tape to mount your new emblem, the tape should protect the holes well enough to prevent any water from getting in. You could also try using a bit of silicone right inside the holes, but make sure to clean off the excess so that the tape adheres wells, you don’t want you new emblem falling off now do you.

ya its only like a 2 piece insert and truckperformance didnt give me an option. did you see the pics though? it looks kinda good with that silvery finish what do you think?
