I was wondering if anyone has come across a good web site to purchase the rear Ford emblem, which is on the back door?

All I find when I do a search is for Sport Tracs, and I'm not sure this will fit.

Thanks in advance.

Go to www.fordpartsgiant.com and enter your VIN. This will make sure that you are looking at parts for your Ex. Then proceed as follows:

  • Select the Information And Customization Group
  • Select the Name Plates & Warning Decals Sub Group
  • Select the Name Plates Part Type

You will then have a list of available parts.

  • Click on the blue get info button above the listing.
  • This will open another window.
  • Click on the link next to Part Type.
  • This will open a window with a diagram.

Then compare the diagram with the part numbers to make sure it is what you want.

Hope this helps out! :biggthump

Thanks, it helps a lot!

Good luck. Be sure to let us know how you make out.

I am looking for two regular color ford emblems to fit my 96 limited explorer as well as a explorer limited emblem to replace the old one. I already have the V8 stickers which stayed intact and regular color. Please help me out if you have two for sale

For anyone that is interested ... Any stock Ford blue oval emblem from/off any Ford, can have any color scheme you can think of - a simple color/trim match, zebra stripes, polka dots, lightning, flames, camo, anything you can imagine. The process takes a couple days for air and drying times but have done a ton and they look great on customized vehicles. Stock blue ovals, minus the Ford blue color. NOTE: The Ford 'Blue Oval' is trademarked, and I am in no way attempting to infringe on that, especially since I purchase them from the Ford dealer. But if interested, pm me, lol ...

could you post some examples of what you have done in the past???

The background is what gets transformed to your liking, all the chrome stays chrome. I cannot post any of my pics. If you search the photo sites, you'll see why, no one posts them, there's a reason, lol.

I don't understand why you can't. You can find pictures of Ford emblems everywhere, including modified ones on eBay. Yes their logo is trademarked, but you are not reproducing their logo; just altering the color. And that is not at all illegal.

All those are aftermarket with adhesive/peel off sticky back, not OEM. I was served a 'Cease and Desist' letter in the early 2000's. Admittedly, I did get a bit carried away. If you're altering and re-selling OEM, that's a no go. If you can find what you're looking for, kudos. GL bro, been there, that's why I learned how to do it in the first place. PM any further interest, future responses in this thread will be generic. -Dave-
