Anybody know how to adjust the rear hatch? When closed mine is higher than it is supposed to be on the driver side. This also is causing it not to shut properly on this side because the latch isnt lining up.

P.S. Does anyone have pics of their ride with factory rims and 30x9.50s ? This would be for a 4x4 (91-94) 4dr. 31x10.50s would even work too.

Thanks

To adjust the liftgate you loosen the bolts that attach the liftgate to the hinge, move the hatch as necessary, and retighten the bolts. You may have to do this a couple of times to get it just right. There is some play buit into the mounting point.

clemson. im in greenville, we should go wheeling sometime. i still got stock tires but the 32's will be here soon.

ill be on the north end of lake keowee all this week up toward clemson

Thanks for the answers.

Redexplr, Is there any rubbing and does your 4.0 struggle at all?

BoatsRcool, Im actually in Minnesota doing an internship until December....then ill be back in tigertown.

Ok, i was able to adjust the hatch and make it level again.....but it is still loose on the driver side when shut and i have looked all over the latch and hatch for ways to adjust it. Any ideas?

well in that flex picture about thats the max flex i could get anything more and it would rub on the inner fender on the rear tires, surprizingly none at all up front, but the rear is very minimal, i think with a 2"-3" body lift i could fit 33's, i also think the 4.0 would do fine with 33's! The 4.0 has some good torque and mine runs perfect so there is really no lack of power with 31's at all.

oops i fogot to mention in my above post that in my flex shot the right rear tire was off the gound about an inch and thats when my tires rubbed so it wasnt that bad at all considering the eddie baur weighs 4200+ lbs!
