questions about rear hatch

Something weird is going on in the hatch...

The handle sticks - I have to pull the handle loose every time I use it (it sticks)

The rear glass wiper is loose in the door. I can grab it where it goes into the door and move it in and out about 3/4 of an inch.

Any ideas? How do I remove the rear door panel?

pull off the bottom scuff plate and then all the trim pieces holding the rear hatch on.
those tree clips are a *****!

On a 98 X you remove the hatch pull (two screws), possibly a trim screw near the latch, pop out the push-in holders around the glass and lift up on the panel.
Yours could be different...
