rear leaf spring qiestions

so i know you can swap the leaf springs from a f150 to a explorer, and i have read a few differnt threads about it but i cant seem to find what year f150 i need for the leafs,

so my question is what year f150 do i need to find to pull the leaf springs off of,

also i have a 98 explorer xlt 2wd with the 4.0 sohc

im pretty sure they can come out of any early 80's to early 90's f150, but best results have come from the trucks with the 5 leaf packs and tow package, make sure you get the ones that are 2.5" wide though, not the 3" ones. mine came out of an 87 f150 with the tow package and 5 leaf spring packs, i havent installed them yet but i dont forsee any real issues.
