ok so i have a power trax rear locker and its not locking any longer. i did rear axle seals and every thing looked good however went in kind of rough when it went back together i had to tap the big center pin in with a small hammer and now i have that one wheel wonder thing going on. so if any one has a clue on how to fix or what the problem may be please let me know i would love to have it working again. you can also hear it clicking when in reverse.

still broken please help its now winter and with 12.5 tires and no locker it wont go any where.

Have you tried putting the rear wheels up in the air and rotating each rear tire by hand?

Have you pulled the cover off and checked everything again, re-measured the tolerances?
I mean, we can all sit here and guess but it's not going to do any good until you have a look at it and see if anything is out of place.

im going to pull it apart next week but i reinstalled it using the install guide so there shouldent have been any problems but i was doing it late at night so any thing is possible i guess we will see what turns up when i do it again next week also i did rotate by hand while i had it in the air and it acts like a stock open diff.

Powertrax comes in 2 varietys. Lock-Right and No-Slip, which do you have? The no-slip has some parts that disengage the driver and coupler when turning, is it possible that somehow the parts that disengages them wont let them engage?

thats kinda what im thinking i noticed it not working after changing wheel seals and diff fluid however prior to that i hadend had it in a non pavement situation in a while so it is possible it broke some time before that however last winter it was having problems locking. it wouldent lock unless it was warmed up so i called richmod gear and they said that that was normal the problem is the driver side wheel spins and the passanger wheel just sits there looking pretty but im doing a total tear down and rebuild step by step following the book next week and we will see where it goes from there i dont know which one i have though it has 12 springs total though.
