Rear passenger-side door will not unlock or open

Greetings all, just bought a '95 XLT and I'm having some trouble. The rear passenger-side door is locked and will not unlock. I have tried using the remote to unlock, as well as putting a screw into the lock to try and pull up from the inside. Nothing. I have taken the door apart as best as possible from the inside but since my seat is in the way I have not been able to reach the inside to fiddle around. Is there something inside the door I can manually pull on just to unlock the door? Or is my only option to pretty much get a jimmy and try opening the door that way?

EDIT: Also, when I try unlocking with the remote there is a loud buzzing noise that comes from that door.

Sounds like you actuator is shot- it will also keep you from being able to manually open the lock. It's not the easiest thing to get into with the door closed, but it's possible...

Thanks for the response, I assume it's possible to just replace the actuator from the inside with the door shut then?

Yes, it's possible to do. Not fun, and you might have a door panel casualty, but they're relatively easy to find.
