Good Day All,
I have a little problem and maybe someone has gone thru it.
I have a 2016 Explorer Limited and my rear passenger side signal light doesn't work.
It's not the bulb and found to see no current coming into light socket.
Could it be a ground and if so where should I look at?
I'll appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Forum.
There are no fuses to check and I'm guessing that all other functions of the taillight assembly work.
I did a quick 'Search' and really didn't find anything about your issue except this thread which sounds kind of dubious as far as a 'fix' goes.
Is it possible to connect a ground to the plug's ground wire to see if that does anything?

Thanks for the welcome!!!
Yes all other functions of rear taillight work.
Also front and side mirror blinkers work.
It's just that rear passenger signal light not working.
I'm gonna try connecting a ground from rear see if that works.
Yes I looked all over for my issue but nothing.
Thanks,
Rigo👍👊

Hi Scorpio,
I am currently having the same issue on my 17 explorer XLT. Did you ever find out the issue?

Hi folks, New here..
I'll tell you what I know as of now hoping to find a solution before taking it to the dealership.
Tail lights both sides work as they should. Brake lights work as they should. Left turn signal works as it should.

When I use the right turn signal and/or hazards

1. The right tail light blinks but very dim and not the correct bulbs, but everything in the tail light.
2. The left tail light also blinks in the same way as the right. Dim blinks even when just the right turn signal is being used.

What i have done so far.
Replaced both drivers and passengers tail light wiring harness that goes from the tail lamp through the body.
Replaced all bulbs (knew this wasnt the issue but wanted to get back to base)

The way it acts I'd believe there is a grounding issue but Im unsure which wire/color are the grounds for the tail lights. I'm having a hard time locating some type of
electrical schematics for it.

Hoping someone out there has had the issue and can help!

Thanks in advance!
