Rear Shackle Interest

Well I talked to him today and he said for the pair of shackles powder coated and with bolts the price will be between as of now $80-$100 for the pair. But he will not know the for sure price until he talks to the laser cutter.

Like I said before these will be laser cut and more than likely TIG welded but maybe MIG welder. Also they will be powder coated and come with bolts. And both faces will be dippled and have a tube welded between them to keep the shackle from twisting

I know the price is high but these will be very high quality shackles and will be well worth the money.
He should be building my shackles which will be the prototype ones this weekend so I will try to get pics by early next week.

So if you are still interested then just let me know in this thread or in a PM.

i'd use them but I'm not at this point needing another 1.5inchs of lift but yeh I think they are worth a try

shackles are shackles.
and these look like they would out last warriors any day.

i'd be up for getting them if i needed them and if they were well under 100 bucks.

Ok here is the latest info.
The shackles will be TIG welded and laser cut.
The metal on the shackles will be 1/4".
The faces will be dipped and a piece of tube welded between them to keep the shackles from twisting.
The price is going to be about $100 for the pair but it could be cheaper he will not have a set price until after he talks to the laser cutter and after he makes the first prototype set.
I will have pictures of the prototype shackles on Monday or Tuesday.

Here is an example of some shackles he built for an F150. My friend is running these shackles on his prerunner.

The second example pic.

i would be if they werent so expensive. i mean, how much more durable can you get than the warriors? i dont see it being worth the extra $30-50

did these ever get made?

i'm interested!

Yes they were made I have the prototype ones on my X right now.
I will try to get some pictures tomorrow.
But the shackles ended up taking a long time for the guy to make so now he has set the price to $180-$200 for the pair. These shackles are like a pair of shackles you would buy from a Camburg or any other high desert truck shop.

Jeebus thats expensive man. I mean its cool that someone else is making them but that aint cheap. Warriors are tough as nails and are like 50 bucks. Take a few pics of your prototypes so we can see.

Heres the first picture

Here is the second picture

They do look tough. though they dont look like something I couldnt fab up in 30 mins.
