rear spring help

I have a 96 5.0 awd and was thinking about beefing up the rear springs for towing would add a leaf, coil over, or air shocks be best? Any recommended products?

Air shocks dont add to tow capacity, it just helps to keep your butt from dragging & you X level . I use monroe max-airs and my X rides great. Use a WD hitch.

Air shocks do add towing capacity, but add a leafs will add more, my air shocks are rated for 1k of added capacity, where as it is common for add a leafs to add 2k
