HI,I was looking for some info on a 96 ford explorer rear suspension.
What i have is a swaying motion coming from the rear of my 96 explorer
but i could not find any info. about it in the search box is there a thread
that someone has started about this yet,my son said there was a vertical
and horizontal shocks on rear end is this possible where my swaying problem is coming from,THANKS

Are your sway bar links bent or damaged?

Rear suspension

Will look at those in the morning,i thought it mite be the tires but we have moved them around to see if that made a difference it did not,its just a little unnerving when you are going along at 60mph and for no good reason the car moves around like it was hit by a cross wind.

I ride with no sway bars. Like the leaning. Also did SOA so they had to go. Shocks aren't really for leaning control just absorbing.
