Wouldn't replacing springs and lifting be a better idea?
Sagging springs are already weak, adding gravity to them is just going to weaken them even more. Weak springs tend to bounce. Bouncing in normal highway driving is a bit dangerous.
I have Warrior shackles on the back of my explorer and have rear sag, my rear springs looks like this ~ I am going to see about rreplacing them this summer.
replacing is the best option, go to a junkyard and get some that are not sagged, or get new from LMC ,
adding air shocks is an option , but not a good one, as the crossmember for the shocks is not made strong enough to handle the extra pressure of holding up the back of an Ex, it's just too weak, and will bend making the problem the same ,
shackles on top of sagged springs is not good either as it will actually invert the springs causing them to be even weaker, maybe even break,
