Rear sway bar

Have any of y'all removed the rear sway bar and left it off? Any negatives or positives? I'm mostly thinking about taking it off for off road activities. How does the Trac behave off road and on pavement?

I have mine disconnected, and have for about a year. I actually like the ride much better - road manners are still great.

Yeah, while I don't have a Sport Trac, I too ditched mine years ago. Handles just fine. And even now that I'm SAS/SOA, I still don't have a rear sway bar.

Leave your front connected so you don't over-extend your CV joints.
