Ok so my rear wheels have a lot of negative camber now. I just drove 7 hours with a lot of stuff loaded in the back and on the roof. My truck has a suspension lift.

What do you guys think? Maybe my rear control arms are worn? Will a simple alignment fix it? I'm worried it will just break again next time I need to move...

What's up with my passenger side? Rear struts are new actually unless the lift guys busted it up 🤔

"A lot of stuff"? We talking like boxes of soda pop up to the ceiling and a pull-out couch on the roof, or we talking like a dresser in the back and a mattress on the roof?

Depending on the weight, and road conditions, it's possible that the springs, struts, and/or control arms have been damaged. Perhaps a bit more information will be helpful.

An alignment might have somewhat helped the camber, at least for now, but it won't fix the issue that threw the camber off.

Does it use the same struts for both sides? (I hope so) You could swap sides and see what happens.

Maybe 800lbs at the most

Only front shocks, front lower arms, and rear upper arms are old. A lot of new stuff. Yes the shocks are the same.

I know you're not supposed to get alignment stock specs exactly with a lift but it's weird it's only the passenger side. 🥲

ALSO I don't have a camber kit. IDK if it'll help but apparently some people have needed it

@jamie8470 800 lbs of stuff, that is a good bit of weight, but well below its rating. Shouldn't be any cause for concern. If a quick web search yields truth, the maximum payload is somewhere in the scope of 3000 pounds.

May be somebody just doesn't know how to do an alignment.

I took my 2nd-gen Sport for alignments at two different shops and the first one had it pulling hard to the left on braking. Left wheel toe was out by a degree or two. Second one got it right.

I've got camber problems too, but the torsion bars on mine can be adjusted and that also affects the geometry.

Camber kit might be your best bet at this point, and they can be had for cheap. Still would be nice to know what might have messed it up in the first place; check for signs of wear on all components.

Also worth note is that when brand new, parts don't have regular wear patterns to self-settle. As bushings and ball joints break in, they can settle to slightly different positions than they had unused in the package. So it's possible that this is related to the new components you had installed recently, and after this alignment, it might stay put.

Keep an eyeball on it and update here as needed.

Quick update on this:

1) The mechanics found that one of the mounting bolts was not tightened, as a result the hole where the bolt screws into in the UCA is now hollowed out, oval shaped.... that sucks. The guys who installed it in Tucson did me real dirty twice over now.
2) With that bolt tightened and with a camber kit, the alignment was ALMOST entirely in the green, with the control arm issue causing one of the specs to be slightly off.

Not too bad - much better than I expected, really 👍
Nowww my alignment is already off again since I took it on some rough off-roading and I think my fuel pump blew out (code P0193). The fun never ends! 😂

Welp, at least you know what's going on with it now!
