Last friday a sprinkler got my rear glass wet, so i wiped it off with the rear wiper, and it layed down fine when i shut it off. The next day, it poured down rain, and my rear wiper came on without me turning it on (that i know of). And now it wont go off. I pulled out the fuse but now it wont lay down into its resting spot, and its bugging me. Is the switch stuck on one side ? What can i do to fix it ?

bump ?
this is really buggin' me

Anybody ?

i would put the fuse back in and pull the switch, that wat it gets back to its spot but then stays off. the, off to the junkyard i would go...i would say, bad switch, but if you want to know for sure, hook a test light up and ignore the wiper.

well, you got power to the wiper....hehehe
that happened to my sister's van...but her front wipers
i would say the switch is stuck...take it apart...
i got a spare switch...

Try what we talked about last nite. Put the fuse back in and let the wiper go on its own. Go the back and pop the back glass, don't lift it. If if works like mine, the wiper will go to its resting position. Go and pull the fuse and that will give you a temp. fix. Good Luck man!

I got it down somehow, i stuck the fuse back in, turned the ignition forward and it went down, i immediately turned the key backwards and shoved it down into place !

or you can use force, that works too :p

I had a similar problem with my wife's last year. The stupid thing would start whenever it wanted to. I disconneted the switch and it ran a couple of times after that. I figured I had a short in the system somewhere. To make a long story short about 6 months later I hooked up the switch again and it has not been a problem since?????????
