Rebuilt Transmission 4R55E STILL HAVE MANY PROBLEMS!

So I looked closely trying to find something at fault in the VB and found two possibilities. (like I said, i'm desperate so these are minor)

1-SS1 was loose and wiggly as was the connector even though the bracket was firm. The SS3 was tight unlocke SS1. I read and found that it was normal but would like somebody to confirm this...?

2-the Torque Converter Clutch solenoid (7F037) was pushed and plugged in all of the way, but about 1 CM of space exposed the 2 connector probes to the solenoid. I pushed it in a little but didnt want to break it. Is this normal?

Also, the tranny pan gasket broke in two so replaced that. lol.

Any answers to these wuestions would be appreciated...also might pay the 50 bucks to have the tranny shop diagnose the issue(s).

TIA

Are the O-rings on the shift solenoids?

Cannot tell. Anyways, when I was filling the tranny up, about 6.5 litres into it, the overflow started leaking at least a quart of the ATF. Im thinking fluid has been the issue the entire time. I have been discussing this with James on another thread. Sure hope this is it.

Wow...trans almost leaked everything out...it seems at least. Cleaned it all up, gonna start it up and run it then fill the fluid...if it leaks Im in trouble...

Ok sorry for the long wait I was busy. Test drove it for about 30 minutes. Wasn't perfect, but was pretty stinking close. There is still that one annoying shift flare, even with a new SSC, and sometimes when I go like 5 MPH, when accellerating, it starts for a nano second in 2nd instead of 1st. All in all, it's the most success I've had with this thing.

No OD lights, overdrive shifted in smoothly, floored it and it was smoother than the chevy up at 5k. Hard to believe it has 200k...anyways, successful. It has been fluid the entire time!

Still wondering why there is a shift flare...some solenoid is still slow. Also reverse clunked when shifted into the last time...thnx for any additional input!
