Recalled Firestone a/t tire

One of my trucks came with Goodyear Wranglers. I hated them. Poor ride and handling. I got rid of them as soon as I could.

The deal with the truck was that If I bought the tires, I had to take the truck else it was getting scrapped. so I bought the tires, and got the truck for free

The tires on my 95 were completely bald on the front (drag style) so I was buying the tires for that.. Now I have the 97 and I am in the process of stripping the 95 of all its goodies

Hmm I got a spare off of my 95' that is a michelin x that almost appears in worse shape haha.. that Firestone is entirely crackless, which is amazing considering its been sitting under the truck for 18 years... it is the 15''

Had same thing under '96 I just bought, looked perfect till removed from rim, when flexed it was "crack city", DON"T RUN IT!!!!:

Too many people don't take notice of the age of a tyre.
Many will squeal that they would never use a (completely safe) cheap Chinese tyre but they're happy to use well out of date "good" tyres.

Check the date on the sidewall.
