I have a 95 explorer 4wd v6. it makes popping noises around turns, but even does this going down the road.
I am thinking drive shafts (hopefully). But Ive never had drive shafts make this noise in a straight line. I hope it is not transfer case or front diff. Ive had this happen in FWD cars before to the drive shafts and that is expensive enough.
What is making this noise??
