The standard trailer package setup uses three relays. The diagram I have is from the 1991-1995 Haynes manual; its accuracy is not known.
The source power side of the relays is the Yellow wire. Power to the trailer lights is shown as: LH stop/turn = Y, RH stop/turn = DG, and running lights = T/W.
Source signal side of the relays have the following: LH stop/turn = LG/O, RH stop/turn = O/LB, and running lights = BR. Signal grounds are as follows: LH stop/turn = P/Y, RH stop/turn = O/BK, and running lights = O (another diagram shows all three as O). The signal grounds come together and actually connect to the frame ground when the special cable adapter is plugged in under the bumper (BK).
