Remote start 99 EB

I have a 99 EB explorer 4x4 i just purchased and it has the Avital (AviStart 3200) remote start security system. The problem im having is when i lock or unlock the doors the horn is not honking.The parking lights flash but no horn ,ive read the owners manul for the AviStart 3200 it mentions"horns will honk if connected".I would like to know if anyone has this system on there explorers and how to check if horn is connected to the AviStart moudule or if this is a problem whith the explorer itself.

I recently had the battery on my 99 Eddie run down totally by the lights being left on. Once the battery was recharged everytthing was fine except for the same condition mentioned above. The remote start works, flashes the lights but does not blow the horn. Is there a capasitor or something that is supposed to do that???
