remote start installed: writeup + pics

just wondering if that ^ would've helped you any?

also, gooser you don't have the reversing (5 wire) locks in your '98. it's a negative trigger. the above wire listing is the same as you '98 only you might need a bypass module for the remote start. depends on your key. i'm also MECP cert and have been installing at best buy for a few years now. any Q's just ask kelly.bishop@us.army.mil

Glad to hear you got it to work! Makes me wanna pay the $150 to get it installed by someone else though!
Just want to comment on this, My shop (not mine, but the one I go to) installed my Keyless, Remote And Alarm, for only 80$ Labor. I had to pay for about 50$ in Parts though. I already had all the modules but I had to pay for some installation stuff.

80 bucks is quite impressive, but for remote start? like press a button and your car cranks? 80 bucks is almost too low i wouldnt even think about doing a remot start on anything for $80. the shop i previously worked at charged $250 if it was bought from us and an ungodly amount otherwise.(they charged $60 to install a basic alarm with keyless though)

Wow, sorry guys, i didnt even know you guys posted. Usually it emails me when someone has, but not this time. Anyways, i will try all of the advice given. One thing though, I tried the Negative Door Trigger for the Door Lock/Unlock, but it did not work. What do i do now?

I already owned the Remote Start Kit, I bought it off of Ebay for about 70$. I had to pay them 40$ for a Module to make it work on my X, and I had to pay 80$ For Labor. Just clearing that up if any body was confused.
