Hello all-

I purchased an 07 Explorer Eddie Bauer last year. I was recently looking under the hood and noticed a yellow warning sticker (see photo link below). There is also the little antenna thing behind the rear view mirror. I was wondering if anyone knew if this is a factory remote start or what brand it was. I do not have the remote to use the system and would like to get one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

you would have to find the box, 99% its an aftermarket unit, the ford remote start sticker says ford on it.

bring it to an alarm place.

The only way to know 100% is to find the control box. I googled the number on the label and code alarm uses that label.

Open your driver's door and pull the weather stripping back near the top door hinge and then remove the plastic side cover of the dash (the spot where the older explorers had their fusebox) and look to see if it is in there. Plenty of room and easy access. If not check under the dash around the area of the steering column usually.

If its a code alarm unit, its very likely that its a "factory type" unit that the dealer installs. Code alarm makes the units that the dealers install

If thats the case then the dealer is the place to get the remotes. you may be able to find them online too somewhere.
