My remote starter won't engage. I have changed battery in the fob but suspect that it may be faulty. I think it used to make a clicking noise when the button was pushed but that isn't happening.
Has anyone else had this problem.
Its a 2013
Thanks

If the other buttons work on the FOB but that select button doesn't and you don't feel the "click" of the button, that particular button is probably shot. Time for a new one.

Thanks for the feedback Jason. Neither button works.

So your saying none of the FOB buttons function? If its the standard setup there are 4 or 5 of them depending what key you have. They do go bad sometimes. If its not the battery then I would say the entire electronics inside are bad. Some auto parts stores have testers to see if they are sending out any signal or not.

I'm happy to help, Iceracer. I suggest booking an appointment with your dealer at your earliest convenience. Also, PM me the VIN, odometer reading, full name, phone number, dealer info, and booking arrangements; I'll loop in your regional customer service manager.

Jason
This FOB is specifically for the remote start only. It only has two buttons. One is for the alarm. The other for the start function.
Thanks
Bob

Kwasi,
Thanks for the contact information. A question -- this vehicle has 47,000 K's on it. Would this be a waranty item?
Regards,
Bob
