Fishing line to 'saw' through the adhesive, and remove the trim. And then you need an Adhesive Remover....

...the BEST Adhesive remover, is a product called 'Pure Citrus'....which isn't advertised as a remover. It's an Air Freshener.

It is easy to find at your local Home Depot. Ask ANY of the associates there about it, and they will tell you where it is. It is what the store uses to remove all the adhesive off the displays WITHOUT damaging the paint.

You ain't kidding there! When I removed the tint brow from my Ranger, the adhesive was so good a razor blade wouldn't even cut it. I asked a friend about what to use and he said something called "Citrus". I looked under the sink and the wife had "Pure Citrus". Doubtful I sprayed some on it. In less than 5 minutes it had turned the adhesive into a mushy goo. Came right off.

Good info to know, I can use this on the Explorer and the Charger when replacing badges and emblems.
