Remove Windshield Wiper Cowl

I am trying to remove the windershield wiper cowl/base to paint it black since mine has faded to a greyish color. Here is the peice I am talking about, it is at the top of the hood. The piece that is holding the windshield wiper on.

Anyone know how to take this thing off? Thanks

There is a screw in the middle of the truck. You have to remove it, it is located here:

Remove that, then pull it off. Be careful and try to use a screwdeiver underneath to help leverage the tabs as they are brittle- so they pull straight out.

Also, be careful of the sprayer nozzles. They are also brittle, and bave very small tabs holding them in, and if they break you will not be able to clip them back into the housing on the cowls. If you can remove the hoses, that works too. Just take your time...
