removing door panel on 01 sport

i tried to remove the driver side door panel today to replace the latch assembly and i removed every screw i saw and gave it a pull... and for about ten minutes i messed with it , but it didnt want to come off,

am i missing anything?

a very novice question i know but any help is greatly appreciated

There are about 5 screws... Which ones did you take out?

I believe there are 4 screws. Two in the door latch. Two underneath. You then have to take off a little plastic piece thats in the door latch. From the inside pull the handle like opening the door and the little black plastic trim piece around it snaps out. Snake the trim piece around the open handle and from there you have to pull up and towards you to get it off of the ledge around the window.
