removing fan clutch

Can some please tell me in order to remove the radiator fan clutch from a sport trac 01', should the wrench be turn clockwise or counter-clockwise? And out of curiosity, is replacing it with an electric fan easy? Thanks in advance

Sorry for the delay. When looking in from the front you turn the large nut to the passenger side of the truck
