if its reverse threads, does this mean standing in front of the truck looking at the fan, i turn the fan to the right, or drivers side to loosen, right?

I'm not sure but if you are replacing it, check your new part. I had one a mechanic couldn't get off.

i know that, so lookking at it would that be turning it toward the left (pass side) or to the right (drivers side)?

looking at it from the front of vehicle it turns counterclockwise.

Counterclockwise is always left.

On the fan shroud near the battery embossed in the plastic

Right hand threads on fan clutch. This means turn right to tighten.
