An odd question guys, how do I remove all of the retarded stickers that are on the lighted mirror visors in my 2000? Unfortunately OCD kicks in and they drive me crazy seeing them all the time.

I know....big deal, but it's the cross I bear. The airbag ones are on the fabric along with a later rollover sticker.

Then the airbag warning on the mirror cover, any help would be groovy.:D

Umm best bet is a hair dryer, and a plastic credit card.. Heat up the sticker, use a credit card to peel it up.. Then go over it with goof off or similar adhesive remover to remove any left over adhesive. Sometimes the stickers maybe actually be a silk screened logo that won't come off with heat or chemicals.

That's what 2 of them seem to be is silk screened,if I scrape them with my thumb they flake apart.I just wondered if there was an easier way.The later rollover sticker is on the fabric and starts to come apart if I try to peel it.:D

spray easy off oven cleaner on the silk screened ones, leave it for a couple of minutes, than hose them off,

I've not tried to remove the screen print ones, and honestly- that fabric is so delicate, I don't know if I would... If it's a sticker, you jogged my memory of a thread on the Mustang Forum. I especially like post #6 :D

For weak, real "stickers" I've used that method and it does work.
For silk screen, I think even engine degreaser (so Oven Off should work, Pete is wise) might work, as it takes paint off plastic, like when I detailed the Camry...

Thanks guys, these damn stickers drive me nuts.I will see what works on the silk screened ones on the passenger side first.I think I can brush most of it off with a stiff tooth brush.:D
