So I've got the 08 Sport Trac. I am not terribly happy with the interior silver trim. Specifically the trim surrounding the instrument cluster, shifter, and the driver and passenger a/c vents (closest to the doors).
I am doing a carbon fiber wrap on some other stuff, so I did the trim piece surrounding the shifter. Easy. That thing pops right on/off with zero problems. However, I am trying to figure out how to get the trim off the a/c vents and from around the instrument cluster. Not sure if it's the standard "it's a Ford, just tug it" kind of connection, or if I'll have to take the dash apart to get at some sort of retaining clip behind the vents.
Anyone have any tips or tricks to get those off?
