Repacking Wheel Bearings

I'm trying to get the inner bearing out of the spindle. Got the plastic cap off, got the metal grease cap, but I just can't get the bearing out. Any special procedure to this?

Sometimes you can get lucky and use a long screwdriver and a hammer and drive the bearing out. They do make a sepecial puller that makes the job a whole lot easier.
Are you replacing the bearing, or just repacking it? If you are just repacking it, I never remove them. Just clean them out with a rag or paper towels and repack them with fresh grease.

Thanks. I ended up just spraying it out with brake cleaner, wiping it down, then shoving a bunch of new grease in there.
