I just replaced the fuel pump on my 92 and it started wonderfully with no hesitation and all seemed well. But then i get a code 179, which I think is a lean condition, and when I start to accelerate from a stop it seems like there is no fuel and it bucks like a horse and the thing feels like it wants to die out. This only happens when accelerating under 20 mph. When i drove it on the highway at 70 for about 80 miles it had no problem just when i would come to a complete stop and then accelerate. Its just for a split second and then it accelerates normally with no problem. I tried searching and it seems to be a weird problem that many have not encountered. It also seems to happen after the cel goes on. With the research I did about the code 179 it seems to be either the FPR or the mass air flow sensor. I would like to find the correct problem as replacing parts can get pretty expensive quick. I would appreciate anybodys input on this situation. Thanks
