Replacing Driver Side Door

Hello All

I'm looking to replace the exterior driver side handle. It's loose from the inside and I was already told its alot of work replacing it by removed the enterior cover in order to replace it.

I've checked with Kragen, Pep Boys but they dont have it but the last place I checked was the dealership (Ford) and they have it in stock for $152 which I think its ridiculous. Does anyone know elswhere or website for anything less?

Get a used one from the wrecker $5 maybe

I believe they are riveted in place. A used one will work just as good as a new one. Typically the drivers handle gets the most wear. I don't know if all 4 are the same part or not. You could try getting a rear handle on the drivers side to maybe get more life from the spring. You may be able to get lucky and find one in the same color.
