Replacing head + head gaskets

Truck INFO: 1999 4.0L OHV, 125k miles. blown head gasket.
So I am replacing gaskets + new cylinder heads.
Starting tomorrow and I've got a couple of questions.
When working on the car, and replacing the heads, will I need to mess around with the timing? Or can I just leave it as it is? (or find TDC...)

What kind of bolt sealant do I need?(and do I need to use one?)

Do I need any glue or anything when putting in the gaskets? or just block-gasket-head?

More questions to come (newb here, never did this before)

im puting headers on my 94 and ive heard its hard to get the exhaust manifolds off did you have any problems with the bolts breaking or stiping? do you have any tips
