replacing passenger side view pwr mirror? how to take it off? put new one on?

for my 95' 4wd 4 door xlt explorer... how do I take my broken side view mirror off? (I cracked it hitting side of garage door, backed up only to watch the glass break off only hit the garage door by a half inch, but it did soo much damage!!!)

anyhow, does anyone have instructions on how to fix it?

also, is $55 a good price for a new mirror? that's what my uncle gave me (does work on my car)

Cake man.
Pop the door trim pannel off and then it is just removing three 11mm bolts and popping a wire harness.
It is a twenty minute job tops.

Do a search for the door trim panel if ya don't know. It is all cake man.

heh, as an audio nut myself, it's more of a 5minute job taking that door panel on and off, lol, done it far too many times...

thanks, I just never noticed the mirror stuff, only the audio stuff, l;ol
