Replacing shocks on a 2000 XLT????

2000 XLT 30" XTR's
I wanna replace my shocks myself. But, is it difficult? i have tortion bars in the front, so all i need to do is unbolt the shock and toss the new one in right? no alignment, or any funny stuff right??? thanks for the help!!

it is jsut as simple as that, loosen the bolts, remove, replace
 






Right, but getting to those bolts and loosening them is the PITA. Have fun.
 






Long extensions (1.5 ft), deep well socket and a torque wrench are all that's needed.
 












The bolts on the top of the front shocks. You get to them from with the hood open.
