replacing smashed rear window

Hey all my wife accidentally smashed the rear window in our 02 ford explorer when the gas strut come of. The local glass people ordered an 03 model window to replace it but are now saying it doesnt fit the 02 model. Is this right?

From what i understand from 02-05 is same body shape, so windows should be the same yes?

Looking at pictures it appears to be the same. Why didn't they get an 02 to begin with? Tell them to put a rush on it.
