I posted this here because it doesn't look like anyone goes to the tire and wheel forum. I need help with this asap before ordering new tires.

I bought some Eagle 0589 15x8 inch rims and they arrived today. Most people on this site running 33's say they're on 15x8" rims due to backspacing and fenderwell rubbing. Looking at the box for my new tires it say the max diameter tires I should run on them is 32". Do all 15x8's have this recommendation or did I just buy the wrong rims? I wonder if a tire shop will be okay about putting 33's on my 15x8's? I was always curious about people running tires 4.5" wider than the rims.

I don't see it on the box. It says the offset is 30 mm. The ebay auction I bought them from said 3 1/4" though.

The auction was a pretty good deal for these rims. $285 shipped for 4.

They will be just fine, and the shop wont give you any crap. Dont worry about it, its all good. :)

ya i was at my shop the other day asking some of the same questions , most there told me not to run 15x10 with 33's, due to airing down and just the wear while off roading better with 15x8s,

15x8s are just fine for 33x12.5s

I have the same setup and I dont have any problems and didnt have any problems getting a shop to do it. The only thing is with that backspacing you might find that rubbing on the fenders may be more of an issue. How much lift do you have?
