96 XL
Hey All,

I just got my first Explorer 2 days ago. It is a 96 XL that came with 14" rims stock. They are so ugly. In order to avoid drawing any extra attention to it, I am looking to replace them with some stock alloys from a 98 exp. Are the bolt patterns and offsets the same?

2) Has anyone integrated a 98 center console into a 96 before?

Absolutely sure :(

And I also know the guy that bought it new in 96 and they are the stock ones that were on it when he bought it new.

The bolt patterns are all the same. 14s, now thats a new one! The full length center console was avaiblable in all Explorers '95 and up. So its just a matter of obtaining all the brackets and bolts and bolting it down. The have rear radio controls along with a rear heater blower. I don't know what is involved with wiring it up.

Yea that truly is Odd about the 14"s, i didnt even think those would clear the disc brakes, Even if you have an XL you should have 15", im not calling yo ua liar, just that it is wierd....

PEACE

can you email me a picture of your wheels? RiceKillerz@aol.com
