if we go, we will probably stay in the saloon for the night. It's a great place to party the night away, and there are rooms for rent. Love crown king!
Crown King got some good snow this past weekend. Can see it on the mountains from my house.
Meeting at the end of the paved road would probably be best logistically. There used to be an unpaved parking area before the T at the end of the paved road.
I'm trying to find a place to stay the night Thursday so I don't have to drive the 3+ hours in the morning even before getting to go wheeling. I'll already have a 3+ hour drive back after wheeling which will make for a very very long day.
Ughh... Been working on the Pumpkin getting it ready for the trip and found out there was no heat at all. My heater core was completely clogged solid. Pulled it out, and blasted some air through it to clear the obstruction. Flushed it many, many times, blowing it out repeatedly, and now it seems to be working ok
Phew!!! It's going to be cold up there, and no heat didn't sound like fun at all!!
Another 4x4 group im in is doing the table mesa trail the next morning, so we're going to stay overnight in crown king, then join their trail ride the next morning. Anyone else interested in joining that?
