Rock Rails on a 94 Ranger

Last october I built me some rock rails. 1" Diameter pipe, 3/16" wall thickness, mounting plates are 1/4" plate steel. The HiLift raised the tire off the ground & the rail never bent. These oughta protect the rocker panels a little.

I also built a spare tire rack a couple years ago. I think I'm gonna build a different one shortly. One that doesn't raise the tire that high so I can see out of the mirror better.

Thanks for the comments. I like that bender for doing things like this, it works pretty good for that. I haven't tried any pipe larger than 1 1/2" though.
