Rock Sliders?

Are there any after market rock sliders out there for 98 Explorer chassis?

Most people (myself included) build them themselves. They're not hard to do if you can weld. I don't know of any aftermarket companies with them.

I looked and never found even any weld on slider kits that would work- either too long or too short. I ended up building my own.

I don't know of any after market manufacture that make rock sliders for an Explorer. Everybody, including myself either have them fabbed up or make them their selves, plus shipping from the U.S. to Australia would be pretty expensive.
You're better off having someone over there make some up for you.

Thanks guys, I just thought that of all the places that'd have them the States would. Ah well I'll have to check out some engineers as I'd rather have the bolt on 1's, you know that actually clamp around the chassis.

They look great, just what the doctor ordered. Have you got any pics from underneath say up on a mechanics carlift? They'll be good!

I think I will contact someone locally - fabricating shop who has experience building sliders and make some up (similar to a few threads here)

Ya, I have a 2dr (says it in my signature) - they don't fit.
