Roof Rack Support

Hi folks. I have a 98 V8 Explorer (Eddie Bauer). The front right support for the Roof Rack Crossbar sheered off at the pins (Connection to the crossbar - Yes... I overloaded it).

I'm looking to replace the support, and while I've found several sites that stock the part, some even purporting to accept Paypal, I can't get a one of them to complete my order actually Using Paypal. Anyone know of a good site for parts that will actually accept Paypal for payment? CC's are a no go for me. Thanks!

Wow Josh! That's very generous of you, and yes, the piece you're holding is what I'm looking for, but unfortunately yours and mine don't seem to match. Mine is the support for an OEM install on the 98 Eddie Bauer V8 which looks a little different from yours. I've had a heck of a time finding images of the thing, but here are the ones I could dig up. It has a knob in it to tighten down each individual support. The item in the line drawing version is #3, and the photo shows a profile view of the front and rear left side bar supports. Thanks very kindly though, for the generous offer!

it's looks like both of yours look like the rear crossbar for mine.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I got called away for a few days and haven't had the chance to check my email. Yours looks different from mine somehow. Mine sort of swoops up and the over with no right angles. Very curved and low-profile. Yours looks more like it is straight up and down and the bar slides into the inside face of it. if that's the case, then I think we have different fittings, sadly... Let me know if I'm wrong...
