Rough idle now won't start

I have a 2005 ford explorer 4.0 sohc, it had engine failsafe mode light periodically came on, had it diagnosed at the dealer, was told throttle position sensor. I replaced that, still idled rough and now will not start. I am stumped

Start by pulling any stored computer codes. Autoparts stores can usually do that for you for free.

Welcome. Unless he has the scanner he will have to have it towed since he said now it does not start.
