I'm replacing my front wheel bearing in my 2004 Ford Explorer due to the whump whump whump noise that is characteristic of a wheel bearing gone bad.
I have removed the wheel bearing, but see a bit of corrison at the interface between the knuckle and the wheel bearing hub. Wondering if this is any concern and how you would remove it?
I'll put some pictures if I can figure out how to add them.
