Hey guys,
Just wondering what I could do to stop my front and back grille guards from rusting up. The manufacturer (Go Rhino) says I should polish or paint my bar in places I see rust. This is a brand new (like two weeks old) set of guards but I do see places where it could rust or tiny spots already on the bolts, etc. Its not huge whatsoever and noone can tell unless you actually duck ur head under to see where the bars bolt on. So basically I just need something to scrape off some rust and repaint it it tiny areas. I was gonna go to autozone tonight and see what I could do, any suggestions?

is it chrome or is it black if it is chrome just take some steel wool and some wax and wax it with the steel pad let it dry and wipe off easy as 1-2-3

its Black...

Take some steel wool or a wire brush and scratch at the rust. You don't need to take it off, just scuff it up. Then paint it with a decent rust prevention paint from a rattlecan. If you think it's gonna rust again though and you don't want to keep touching it up, think about Herculiner or something like that.
