They are expensive because they can be because nobody else makes them for this application. I'm sorry to here Doug let go here because in my eyes he was an incredibly genuine dude. When I ordered mine I sat on the phone and rapped with him for about an hour. He gave me an unbeatable price and he delivered them himself to my front door on the way to his brothers house. I couldn't be happier with my headers so it bums me out to hear people are not exactly ecstatic about them nowadays.
