Hmmm sure seems to be the same part

$4.44 + $20 shipping and its coming from Hong Kong so its about $25 each....not bad if you can wait. Comes with copper gasket too, nice.
I had to study the ad to make sure it comes with what you need but yes if it fits the 570 and the 900 then it fits the 1000 which is the same piece we use in the SOHC engines.

Yeah! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that price. It's actually "buy it now" for $ 4.44. However the opening bid is $2.22!

How can you tell that it has more adjustment?

Because I had the one we bought in my hand and visually compared the two and that one looks like it has one or two extra threads
May just be my crooked eyes tho

yeah. It needs to be a bit longer for the front...

Ordered a pair for $36 total. Excited to not have to crank to get oil pressure up.

I’m torn on injectors as a “while I’m in there” item. Mine are way past due. I believe they’re the orange injectors, since I have a return system. Most eBay guys are selling the 24lb/hr injectors.

It looks like they just ultrasonic bath them and replace the inlet screens and o-rings. I have an ultrasonic tank that I use for carburetors…maybe I should just rebuild my current ones?

I rebuilt mine however I didn't submerge the whole injector in the ultrasonic tank only the tip

Injectors are on the someday list haha. Still no reason for me to pull them, but it probably wouldnt hurt at this mileage

Tensioners came in today, each with a pair of what I assume to be crush washers on them. Are these good to go, or do I need to use the OEM tensioner washers?

I used motorcraft crush washers
Only because I have a few of them
I don't see why the copper ones won't work

Thanks! Got it done. LOVE IT. Posted a short write-up...

We've had them for a couple of years now in the 04 explorer And I haven't
adjusted them yet

I've never had to adjust our manual tensioners either. The white truck has 63,000 miles on them.
